Data Product Analyst
Role Summary
HundredX is seeking a high performing Data Product Analyst to support the fast-paced growth and scaling of our core insights platform and product. The Data Product Analyst will be responsible for providing advanced product analysis, consumer insights, and data-driven recommendations to HundredX’s clients, partners, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to guide the future of our data products
- Interface directly with clients’ and prospects’ engagement teams to explain product offerings and present analyses to answer their key business questions
- Pair data expertise with industry expertise to scope and execute custom projects for clients using proprietary datasets
- Create content from large datasets
- Identify and investigate trends within the consumer economy pairing HundredX’s proprietary data with external data sources
- Seek out areas for operational improvement and take initiative to address them
- Gain a deep understanding of HundredX data and products, including differentiation from traditional market research and current competitors
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, information systems, math, statistics, or a related quantitative field
- 3 to 4 years of analytics and strategy experience, preferably in management / strategy consulting, business intelligence, quantitative marketing, investment banking, equity research, or private equity
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proactive and solution-oriented; innovative and results-driven
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks with minimal oversight
- Ability to handle multiple tasks daily and meet project deadlines
- Exceptionally committed, hard-working, ethical and thoughtful with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information and exercise exceptional judgment
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
Preferred skills:
- Previous client-facing experience
- Familiarity with programming and database query languages like SQL, Python, and R
- Understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Experience working with cloud-based data solutions like Google BigQuery
- Unstructured data experience
- Experience with large datasets
