On February 6th, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Turkey and Syria. The quake, one of the strongest to hit the region in a century, left millions of people without shelter in freezing temperatures. A second earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5 only exacerbated an already dire situation.
