We’re thrilled to partner with Forbes on the inaugural Best Brands for Value list! Powered by HundredX data, this ranking highlights the top 300 brands most loved by their customers for delivering outstanding value.

The list is built on the More-Value-for-the-Price (MVP™) framework,
developed by Deloitte and HundredX. The framework advances the science of value by showing how brands deliver more than customers expect for the prices they pay.

Based on more than 3.8 million pieces of feedback across 3,500+ brands, the list offers a data-driven look at how consumers define and reward value today.

Why the MVP™ framework matters

A recent Deloitte survey found that 4 in 10 U.S. shoppers identify as “value seekers" -- customers who carefully weigh what they get against what they spend. As more people search for value, brands increasingly have opportunities to benefit.


Independent analysis shows that brands customers see as providing more-value-for-the-price (MVP™ Brands) significantly outperform those providing less-value-for-the-price (LVP™ Brands). On average, MVP™ Brands have higher share gains, future purchase intent and market valuations vs. LVP™ Brands. 

In other words: It pays to provide great value.

Defining "Value"

Value is about delivering more benefits than the prices paid.


Those benefits come from many sources, including quality, convenience, reliability, service, and price itself. A brand can be affordable or premium-priced, but what ultimately matters is that the benefits customers receive outweigh the cost. That’s what defines an MVP™ Brand, and it’s why these brands are consistently rewarded with stronger customer loyalty, higher purchase intent, and improved financial performance.
